Movies are very check to how you are aligned to the time.
If a Sci-fi/ technology have a very high rating and, you did not like it, then your mind is not aligned with the technology/gizmos during that time.

Some questions
Water sector specialists can help clients resolve specific issues
- How much water is consumed across the power production supply chain and what are the impacts of renewable energy penetration?
- How do innovations in the water industry affect energy intensity?
- What steps can the water industry take to reduce its carbon footprint?
- Which water and wastewater treatment technologies can be employed to minimise industry- and country-level exposure to freshwater scarcity?
- How cost effective are emerging water technologies in terms of their ability to improve water efficiency and reduce water intensity?
- How do certain policy decisions influence infrastructure financing and other market opportunities in the water sector?
- What are the implications of regulatory change for demand-side management of water use?

Losing connection with this environment
I woke up in the morning in Hyderabad to go to office as all was well. However I might be worried about something. The mind was not aware that I am now in a hot tropical environment, not in cold temperate environment of Europe. It started ejecting the hormones which it used to eject in the harsh cold environments of Swiss winter which allowed me to go out even in sub zero temperature. The worries probably triggered the mind to come up with a protective mechanism, the same thing it used to do in harsher environments.The un-intelligent mind started ejecting the same hormones this morning in the hot tropical environment of Hyderabad leaving me completely numb and the nerves stressed and unable to function properly. Uff..... These emotional, hormonal and adaptation disorders which I had for the last 2 years drove me crazy........

Time to act
Once again I am reaching a point where moods started becoming prominent and mind is taking control over the intelligence. This is not good as soon intelligence will be gone, emotions will start coming in, I will lose systems and structures and everything will go into an emotional-sensual chaos leaving the self nowhere. This is not good. The conscious is aware of the changes that is happening and it's time to act, to prevent the structural collapse of the system.......
Junction, once again
I have come to the junction, roads are diverging. Need to take the one I can walk on. F-E junction.
Have reached the tipping point, the level of equilibrium change.

Missing them
Missing my instincts, intuition, intelligence and imagination.........
The ability to talk with the air..........
On the mind
In a new environment the mind fights to adapt to the environment. This is the agitated mind.
It continues fighting but slowly starts giving up if it starts finding that it is not adapting inspite of its efforts.
If the fight continues but it cannot adapt, the mind gives up. This is the stage when the mind cocoons itself and goes into a shell to protect itself. This is the closed mind. Until the next suitable environment, the mind remains cocooned and protected. Inspite of all efforts from intelligence, the cocooned mind will not come out of its shell until it finds suitable environment.

How to learn
......................"When you first learned about trees as a child, someone no doubt pointed to one and said “Tree!” and not “Norway Maple!” and certainly not “Acer platanoides!” Only later did you learn there are many types of trees, alike in some ways and different in others. his method of learning employs the concept of abstraction, and our brains are indeed wired for it."..............

Cash Flow can be derived from current Income Statement and current and previous Balance Sheets.
Balance sheet, Income statement, Cash flow statement
Top Line --> Revenue
Middle Line --> Gross Profit (Revenue - COGS/COS)
Bottom Line --> Net Profit
COGS - cost of goods sold
COS - cost of service
S,G&A - Selling, General and Administration
EBITDA - Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation & Amortization
EBIT - Earnings before Interest & Taxes
Income statement
Revenue
(COGS) GROSS PROFIT
(SGA) EBITDA
(Depreciation) EBIT
(Interest)
(Taxes)
Net Profit ------------- Retained Earnings, Shareholder's Equity, Dividends of Balance Sheet
Interest Rate ------------ Rate of Change
Ratios
Profitability Ratios
From Income Statement Only
- Gross Profit Margin Percentage : Gross Margin = Gross Profit / Revenue --> Shows the basic profitability of the product or service itself before expenses or overhead are added in. It tells how much of the dollar one gets to use in the business and how much one pays out in direct costs (COGS or COS), just to get the product produced or service delivered.
- Operating Profit Margin Percentage : Operating Margin = Operating Profit (EBIT) / Revenue --> It indicates how well a company is running its entire business from an operational standpoint.
- Net Profit Margin Percentage (Return on Sales or ROS) : Net Margin = Net Profit / Revenue --> It tells how much out of one dollar the company keeps after everything else has been paid out.
From both Income Statement and Balance Sheet
- Return on Assets (ROA) : ROA = Net Profit / Total Assets --> ROA shows how effective the company is using those assets to generate profit. It is a measure that can be used in any given industry to compare the performance of companies of different size.
- Return on Equity (ROE) : ROE = Net Profit / Shareholders' Equity --> ROE tells what percentage of profit the company make for every dollar of equity invested in the company. It is also a indication whether the company is even capable of generating a return that is worth whatever risk the investment may entail i.e. from the investor's perspective it can show what risk/return of his equity from the company.

Break-even Production
Fixed Cost = F
Variable cost per unit = v
Selling price per unit = p
If Break-even production = n then,
F + n.v = n.p
=> F = n. (p - v)
So, Break-even production,
n = F/(p-v)

Business - Tidbits 2
Business Cycles - Start to end of a cycle ------------> Length of cycle (L)
Rotations - Number of revolutions of the same business cycle or cash flows through the same cycle (N)
L - N trade-off.............optimal condition of cycle duration and cycle number in one season
**Its very important to know the length of the business cycle
By Volume (V) or By Margin (M) ....................
V-M trade-off..............optimal condition of volume and margin of optimal profit
**For personal business, one must have full clarity of the cash flows

Unequal Bucket Comparison
JARGON
When comparing buckets of unequal size of two different times, its necessary to normalize them to the same size. Otherwise the comparison will be biased and so will be the analysis.
In such cases normalization rules need to be followed to convert the unequal sized buckets of different times to equal sized buckets of different times.
